What is psychotherapy?

It’s a talking therapy.

A psychotherapist attends, listens, observes, understands, supports, educates and confronts a person as a whole (many psychotherapy schools use a term 'client / person' instead of 'patient') who is sitting in front of him/her.

A psychotherapist is expected to be aware of his/her own reactions, moods, expectations, generated emotions, fears, limitations, abilities and natural gifts.

Every session can be a learning experience for both of them.

Masters in this field have developed various types of skills and exercises. These are used to help clients in being aware of his/her deeper wishes, thoughts, emotions, convictions, view of the world etc.
